He currently serves as an Assistant Professor in Artificial Intelligence and Cyber Security at Northumbria University London, where he leads multiple postgraduate programs, including MSc AI Technology and MSc Cyber Security Technology.
Dr. Salih holds a PhD in Cyber Security (AI) from Nottingham Trent University and has made significant contributions to the field through his leadership of the Cyber Security Research Group (CSRG). His professional background includes roles as a cybersecurity analyst and advisor for prominent firms in the UK and USA. He is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA) and a member of prestigious bodies such as the British Computer Society (BCS) and the IEEE.
