SHKO RESOOL is a dedicated surgeon specializing in Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgery. A former student of the Kanga Educational Foundation, he now serves as a valued member of its committee, bringing his firsthand experience of the foundation’s impact to his leadership role. Raised in Croydon, South London, Dr. Shko earned his medical degree from Brighton and Sussex Medical School. Committed to the field of pedagogy as well as medicine, he also holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) from the University of Birmingham.
Beyond his clinical work, Dr. Shko is a prominent community leader. He is a founding member and the Co-Chairman of the Association of Kurdish Professionals and Academics (Kurd AKAD UK), where he works to foster a network of excellence among Kurdish intellectuals in the United Kingdom. His unique background in both medicine and education makes him a vital asset to the Kanga Education Foundation.
