LONDON, 24 March 2026: At a high-level strategic session held at Northumbria University London, Assistant Professor Dr. Abdulrahman Salih, Chairperson of the Kanga Educational Foundation (KEF), discussed the foundation’s 2026 strategic roadmap for global academic integration.

A key highlight of the proceedings was the formal presentation of an Award of Recognition to Dr. Abdulrahman Salih. On behalf of the foundation, Lawk Ahmed (Advisory Board Member) and Shawbo Muhammed (Co-CEO) honored Dr. Salih for his pivotal contributions in the First Educational Forum on the Kurdish Language, held on October 5, 2025, in London. This recognition underscores his instrumental role in aligning KEF’s mission with international academic standards. Today’s session focused on three transformative pillars for 2026:

I. GCSE Integration and Accreditation: Preparing the Kanga United Program proposal, designed to integrate Kurdish studies into the British GCSE framework, granting students formal, university-recognized certification.
II. Financial Sustainability: Analyzing a new model for diverse financial streams to ensure long-term stability for KEF’s grassroots initiatives and international academic programs.
III. Global Strategic Expansion: Initiating formal outreach to standardize Kurdish curricula across Western and European education systems and launching collaborative cross-border research projects.
