In a vibrant display of national pride and cultural heritage, the Kanga Educational Foundation (KEF) joined the Kurdish community in London to celebrate Nawroz and the Kurdish New Year 2726. Held at Finsbury Park, the festivities brought together Kurds from all four parts of Kurdistan for a day filled with joy, unity, and tradition.

A Kurdish Atmosphere in the Heart of London

On the third day of Nawroz, KEF’s leadership, teachers, and students transformed Finsbury Park into a hub of Kurdish culture. This celebration was more than just a holiday; it served as a vital platform for KEF to reinforce its mission of passing down the Kurdish language and identity to the next generation in the diaspora. The overwhelming turnout demonstrated that unity and cultural strength remain the foundation of our community abroad.
